Experience a birds-eye view of the Surrey countryside as you soar through the clouds
This experience gives you the opportunity to fly a plane with the instruction of a CAA qualified pilot who will provide quality flying training. You will have a safety briefing and a short lesson which will then be followed by your first taste of real piloting. The introductory lesson is an incredible taster of the joys and privileges of private flying. This is sure to be an amazing experience that you will never forget.
Upon arrival at the airport you will meet your instructor for your lesson. After safety briefings and a lesson on the principles of aircraft flying, you will be taken around the plane. The instructor will show you the cockpit and will give you a run-through of the controls. Then it's time for you to take to the skies, if the instructor feels confident that you are ready you will be given the controls and have the chance to pilot the aircraft yourself. The lesson will last for approximately 30 minutes.

Information and Restrictions
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months, for one person. Once this is received you are free to book a lesson with the aviation school. If you are over 16 stone or 6’4” you will need to state this on point of booking as extra surcharge will be needed to pay for a larger aircraft, this will be paid directly to the aviation school. On the day you must become a member free of charge in order to be covered by the insurance. Family and friends are welcome to come along to watch. The minimum age for this experience is 14 years old; however anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to be with them. All instructors at the school are qualified by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and aircrafts are fully maintained to the standards demanded by the CAA by a qualified maintenance organization. All lessons are subject to availability and weather conditions on the day, so clients are advised to phone the morning of their lesson to check the conditions are safe to fly in.
