Missing the TV programme? Now you can try your hand at guiding sheep into a pen, with a faithful sheepdog to help you.
Your day will begin with a short talk on sheep dogs and their instincts. You will then be introduced to the dogs and the morning will be spent learning their 'language' in a training ring and working with two or three different dogs.
For lunch, 'Shepherds' usually go to the local pub or you can bring a packed lunch.
In the afternoon, you will learn more shepherding skills as you work the dogs loose in the field, move a small flock of sheep round and completing a small course.
