Game Overview
The once impossible has now been accomplished and really looks like there is more to come, OH the possibilities! It's really quite exciting!! As we are sure you are aware the Nintendo DS has many different "controls", you have the standard D-Pad, the A,B,X and Y, shoulder buttons and now for the first time ever on a games console we have Touch and Sound!! And Project Rub uses them to the best of it's ability (for the moment at least).

In a weird world of cartoon like characters with blue faces you play the part of a young male looking to attract one particular woman. If you aren’t sure what we are going on about just look at the screenshots below, they will shed a little bit more light on it. You mission in Project Rub is to win her over and make her fall 'in love' with you. To do this you must save her from fire breathing plants, scorpions, and knock over people at a bus stop and catch the bad guy in a car whilst throwing little blue people at him! Could a game be more random?! No, probably not! One level even requires you to shout at the console, and we aren’t talking about a small measly shout we are talking about a proper "having a go at the ref" kind of shout! Not really suitable for airplane journeys which is a bit of a bugger, although could be a laugh!

All these affection winning scenarios are simply your classic mini game that is pretty much what Project Rub is, a collection of mini games that you would expect on something like Mario Party, but talk about addictive! Complete a game and win some more love from your one true love, but screw it up and she turns her back on and gives you a big kick in the gonads! (Just for the record she doesn’t actually whack you one but you will have to keep trying the same game to restore her love for you, and unlock the level)

The sounds the game makes are even weirder than the game but are so darn catchy! You will find yourself tapping your feet and humming along in no time at all, and something that is really cool is on the main menu there is a option which involves you making little stick men dance to the music, you can speed it up and the dance quicker or you can slow it down and the dance in slow motion! Great fun, but bit of a novelty!

Our Conclusions
Project rub is a must buy if you own a Nintendo DS, it puts all of the new functions of the DS to good use and gives you an insight as to what to expect in the future, although the game is a little weird Project Rub has to be one of the most addictive games we have ever played and is very entertaining.
