Game Overview
The key to this game is to not lose your patience! That is what we were told when Commandos 3 turned up at our offices! Not lose your patience? Crikey, now that is a very hard thing to do with a game that is so darn hard! There aren't many games out there that will top the difficulty of this game, we can promise you that.

The training level will teach you the basic controls of what seems to be quite a basic and straight forward game, how to move, pick up weapons, fire weapons and most importantly staying hidden, obviously you need to know the keys otherwise it just makes the game even harder. You are then thrown straight into the game! Be prepared!

Take note F9 is the quick save button; you are going to need it! The first level we were presented with was in a village, and the main objective was using a sniper take out the enemy sniper, only problem is, he is deadly accurate and has a better range on his rifle than you do, as soon as you poke you head out from round the corner, BANG, and you're dead! At the end of the day, Commandos 3 is all about thinking ahead and trying to work out how to stay hidden, as soon as your identity is revealed you had better start praying!

We found that the best way to go about playing this game is to keep trying over and over again as it loads pretty quick, as soon as you have passed a tricky part whack F9 to auto save and then you don't have to do that part again and you can focus on what to do next. If you do find yourself losing your patience with the game, take a break, it is a lot harder when you are wound up because you tend to rush things, rushing things leads to death, death leads to getting wound up even more! It's a vicious circle, but as it is so rewarding when you do finish a level you will want to continue trying and trying and getting more and more wound up, its hard to get out of!

Although we aren't big PC gaming fans and we did struggle a bit to get into it we did find that once we did master everything Commandos 3 was very addictive as it was such a challenge, we were very impressed with most aspects of the games, everything is explained clearly, it manages to engross you in what is going on, sound effects and the graphics didn't seem like they were from a budget line game but they most definitely are! Nice catch!

Our Conclusions
Quality graphics, excellent and rewarding game play although extremely difficult, that's the only way you can conclude Commandos 3: Destination Berlin. Hard to believe you can get all this for a roughly a tenner! Well worth it!
