Game Overview
What do you look for when you purchase a flight sim game on the PC? The usual probably, good graphics, good gameplay, a fairly realistic feel and something that is going to impress and amaze you! Well Flight Unlimited 3 is just that.
Ok, so it is a couple of years old and is now released on the budget range 'Sold Out' which usually means that there are better games about now of a similar nature, but how many of those games could you buy for a fiver and still get change!
Flight Unlimited 3 has everything you could ask for from a flight sim, very well modeled aircraft, ok so the graphics aren’t superb but like we said it is a couple of years old. The effects of turbulence and wind are very impressive and definitely give it that realistic feel. There are loads of aircraft to chose from, gliders, seaplanes, warbirds, triplanes, modern jets, the list is almost endless, the navigation aids are brilliant, the cockpits are near perfection and on top of all that it does actually have some gameplay!
It was quite hard to find a problem with Flight Unlimited 3 but there was one definite problem we had to tell you about which kind of contradicted the title of the game we thought! The flight areas aren't overly large, this is one very big disadvantage to the game, and it really is a big shame! So you can now see why the game really isn't "unlimited" It would have been really cool if you could just keep flying and flying and flying, but you can't!
Flying a plane on the PC is one thing but what about taking part in a real Flight Simulater experience or what about a real Flying Lessons, guaranteed to be better than the computer games!

Our Conclusions
In conclusion we were quite impressed with Flight Unlimited 3, Flight sims have never really appealed to any of us much and we were a bit reluctant to boot this one up but we were pleasantly surprised! Of course, like we have said there are definitely better flight sim games out there but they are going to cost you a darn sight more than a fiver!
Overall Score: 7/10
