Unreal Tournament 3 (PS3) In the shops exclusively for the Playstation 3 for around a month or maybe longer (console version that is), so if you are the proud owner of Sony's next gen console, the PS3, then get down to your local game retailer and pick yourself up a copy of one of the best FPS games ever made. If you like your FPS titles, and you are yet to try an Unreal Tournament title then now is the best time! You won't regret it.

Devil May Cry 4 Everything seems to be in the right place on both the Xbox 360 and on the Playstation 3, DMC fans have waited a long time for the 4th installment to one of the biggest selling titles in gaming history. It is well worth the wait and although a little bit slow at times with longer than usual loading times and plenty of cut scenes, we are sure that Devil May Cry 4 will have you on the edge of your seat for hours.

Assassins Creed There is no denying that Assassins Creed is a top game, a little tedious here and there which is going to do a little bit of damage to its overall score, but we like it, a lot. It's not going to be everyone’s cup of tea but for 90% of gamers out there we think that Assassins Creed will do the job. It's not got a great deal of replay ability once you have finished the story mode but the 15-20 hours it takes you to finish the game are eye caressingly stunning. A must have game on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. What we are upset about is why the Americans got this so long before us!

Need For Speed Pro Street If you have invested in previous next gen NFS titles i.e. Carbon or Most Wanted then you shouldn't be too bothered about Pro Street. Although the game has a cracking soundtrack including Klaxons and Yeah Yeah Yeah's, the game itself is not great. The handling is very poor, the graphics look ok but tracks are pretty dull with not much going on. Our opinion is to stick with Carbon.

The Simpsons Game Lots of funny one liners throughout the game can get incredibly annoying, graphics could do with being a bit better in game but in terms of gameplay it's not a bad game to play. Solid platformer with different and amusing missions even if some of the special powers are a bit "stupid". We have read some terrible reviews of the Simpsons game which we think are a little harsh. Yes, it's nothing spectacular, but we found it quite enjoyable, good for people of all ages and all round fun with lots of in game variety.

Lair Beautiful graphics that a lot of people will enjoy but this is a perfect example of developers putting too much effort in to the graphical ability and spending all of five minutes with the gameplay side of things. Potentially Lair could have been great, it could have been that 3rd ground breaking game that Sony made it out to be, but, at the end of the day, it wasn't, and it was highly disappointing.

Folklore Graphically superb (very HD TV friendly!), the graphics will keep you hooked on Folklore for hours on end, the gameplay can sometimes be a little bit slow and quite frankly it's more enjoyable watching paint dry but those times are few and far between, 99% of the time you'll be loving every second of what Folklore has to throw at you.

Warhawk It's the first game since Motorstorm which we have actually been excited about and it has proved that the PS3 can mix it with Xbox for online gameplay albeit only just. There is still a long long way to go for Playstation to match the online capabilities that the 360 offers with Gears of War, GRAW or Forza Motorsport but Warhawk is a step in the right direction and is a very good game! A must buy for all PS3 owners.

Sega Rally OK, so you haven't been told to much about Sega Rally itself, but if Guy Wilkes says that it is realistic then it's realistic. Graphics are superb and the gameplay is highly addictive and definitely sticks to it's arcade roots. Having played it intensively on the PS3 we are in love with it, we were massive fans of the original but we do think that it belongs in the arcade with a bucket seat, big screen and steering wheel, paying a pound a go. If you enjoyed the original then you'll definitely enjoy the newest release.

Heavenly Sword The game is pretty short and with no online play you'll struggle to go back to it for some time once you have completed the game. Good graphics outweigh the rubbish graphics, the voice acting is second to none and the mouths actually move like they would in real life which is so very rarely seen in games. Sony have produced a very good game but we have a feeling it may only appeal to people who can persist with repetitive gameplay, like us!!

Call of Duty 3 PS3 Being available on the Next Gen consoles as well as the PC and PS2 CoD3 is bound to be a top seller around the world! It is a cracking game, that's for sure! Probably one of the better release titles for the PS3 and definitely one to consider if you are thinking of picking up Sonys new machine.
